Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at fitcitruspark@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Our gym welcomes everyone and your current fitness level doesn’t matter! If you are committed to yourself and getting in great shape, then our gym is for you. Coaches are at every class to guide and assist you with movements and modifications. Everything you gain from training with us is a direct result of how hard you work. No gimmicks – just hard work.

We strongly encourage new members to attend our Intro to Fitness classes to review important skills and movements. You will also learn more about the type of environment, programming and community we have at our gym.

We believe that you should train in the environment in which you live. In other words, we often times workout in the elements no matter the temperature, humidity level or weather conditions. If you’re new to cross training you will find that most gyms won’t have A/C, but we do have large fans to keep the air moving.

Class times are scheduled in 1 hour blocks, however the workout itself may vary from a quick 10 minutes to a 40 minute workout. Shorter workouts may incorporate a strength prior to the WOD, such as bench press or back squats. Classes will generally last at least 45 minutes including coaches explanation of the movements, warm up, WOD prep and completion.

Due to member safety and continual flow of our classes we ask that our members stick to the programmed WOD during scheduled class times. Our coaches always suggest modifications for movements of the programmed WOD if you feel there may be an issue with a particular movement. We offer Open Gym on Sundays from 11AM to 1PM for you to come in and do your own workout or practice a particular skill.

We internally program each day’s workout week to week. This allows us the ability to plan a well-balanced week of workouts that include strength, lifting, cardio and bodyweight movements. Our classes, led by a coach, consist of a warm up, explanation of the movements, scaling options and an overview of the WOD. Our members are encouraging and our environment is one of camaraderie. We work hard, but have fun.

We have athletes of all ages and backgrounds all with one common goal – to get fit. We encourage healthy competition and camaraderie among our members. We are extremely family friendly and welcoming to all members. Come see for yourself!
